Painting

Subjects of my work include Landscapes, Portraits, Birds, and Flowers. I use water colour, oil painting, Suiboku-ga (black and white Indian ink drawings) - used in a wide variety of applications including postcards, ornaments, home decorations and murals.

Sculpture

Sculpture

I select appropriate materials to express my thoughts and the feeling of each piece. I have experience using terra cotta, concrete, bronze, fibreglass (FRP), Japanese lacquers, plaster, wood, aluminum, and iron. I especially like terra cotta which I often use as my primary material.

Ceramics

I have experience using many kinds of kilns, such as oil, gas, electricity, paper, anagama, noborigama, and others which were produced by myself. Ceramic sculptures and painted ceramic works are among my other interests.
